Post by: Innes on September 05, 2006, 09:27:42 AM
Well I’m about to start putting on an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and I was wondering what if any secrets. It looks like ill have to un screw it from the bottom w/an Allen key. it looks so damm tedious. So any secrets. Hope I get this before I start.

Yep its very tedious that way. You might be better off just taking the fuel rail off and put it on. Either way :) ........you either spend the time turning that little allen key cursing and crying or the time to disconnect and unbolt the fuel rail.

Yea thanks any way and yes it was tedious. I ended up taking the top plenum off to help me and buying a cheap 5/32 Allen key and cutting it and glueing into an old garbage ¼ socket and then it wasn’t that bad. But now I started a header project and that’s another problem. http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=10125

I have a MMFF mag that has a special tool for the FPR. Basiclly it is a allen key that is the shape of the letter J. They said it made it alot easier.
