And Merry Xmas to me: CHE Performance uppers and lowers.
And a cool gift from a friend:
Some used ramps, couple used (and py) jack stands, the parts to get my exhaust fixed, new hacksaw, a 192 degree (or so they say) thermostat, beer, and a visit to the grandparents a week after my grandfather's first mini-stroke.
I actually didn't receive much this year, but I don't mind. All cards, candy and food (fried chicken, steaks.... :grinno: ). It seems this year has been pretty rough on family and friends in terms of money and free time to spend shopping, and I didn't ask for anything because everyone knows I have too much stuff as it is :) It's cliched, yes, but spending time with family and hanging out with friends was the best present possible for the guy who has it all (me! hehe).
I also enjoyed stuffing my face every other day! :giggle: Ah, the holidays.
It sounds like everyone got some good stuff. Under the tree for me was the Martin Scorsese DVD box set, John Lennon's Rock 'N' Roll album among others, and a few shirts.
Chris
I got Futurama Vol. 4 DVD set, a new tool box (a small one for the trunk of the car, I already own a roller and chest), some clothes, a 3.0 GHZ Dell computer ('twas an early Christmas present to myself), a wireless soldering gun, a wallet (not stuffed with $$ though), and a sorely needed winter jacket (I was wearing my hunting coat).
For my birthday I got an 18V B&D cordless drill and whatever my father ends up buying me.
This was the first year that I was actually able to buy more than I received and it's even all paid for! I got my father a pressure washer and my mother a remote starter, the in-laws a 27" TV set, my brother a breakfast grille, and my sister a crock pot. Neices all received dolls, teady bears, art sets, etc
When asked what I wanted I really couldn't think of anything I need. Aside from a Turbo Coupe parts car I have everything...
grinch pj's (grinch eating the christmas tree)

wal-mart gift card(ill will buy american so ill cash it in)

I got a creeper from my best friend. And a much nicer more expensive creeper (with adjustable headrest) from my parents, who were unaware of what my best friend got me. I got a new jacket, a new sleeping bag (I like to go camping a lot in the summer/fall.) I got Star Wars: Battlefront which I haven't been able to play yet because of a stupid installation error. The present my wife got for me hasn't arrived yet so I get to open it later this week.
The coolest thing, though, is that we were able to buy really nice presents for everyone this year without going in debt and everyone really liked what we got them. It makes you feel good to be able to give things to people.
