Electrical Tech / Can anyone help me ID this?
Now that I've had a morning to troubleshoot, here is where I am.
Found the plug with the wires going to blower motor. confirmed different voltages for 3 fan speeds at power side of plug. Applies 12v and known good ground to load side of plug and fan does not run. Ohm meter confirms open. So I guess I'm going to be pulling the dash to get to the blower.

I would like to thank all who replied. All opinions are appreciated. I have been looking around this site and forum. You people are awesome. The amount of information shared here is great. I will offer any info I can. A special thanks to all who contributed to the dash R&R procedure on this site. You make it look less intimidating. I will let you know how I make out.

Too small of a resistor for a blower motor. Looks more like a resistor across a thermistor, AKA temperature sensor. Is this for a car with automatic/digital temperature controls?

That Is what I have. Think it's called "automatic temperature control".  Do you know if the blower would run or not, if this component is defective? I did not get any failure codes. All fuses are good.
Thanks for your help.

1986 Turbo Coupe. Came out of blower housing. Blower was working  before I removed this part. when reinstalled blower no longer works, one wire carries 5.3 volts when ignition on.
