Engine Swapping / Re: "Ls" swapping my 1984 Thunderbird élan
  On that K frame. Does the Mustang one just not fit right ? Is that the reason for the spacers ?  Im about to start this swap in an 84 as well. Picked up a DI LS 5.3... Figured I would just order an AJE K frame to start with..   Love your car.. Here's my start. Very clean little car..

235/60 is about the max that will fit up front due to the strut.

Thanks. So 275/50 on an 8 inch. Cool. I was figuring just getting a 7 inch rim up front or should I go to a 6 ?

Ive read so many threads my eyes are sore. Can I run a 275/50/15 on an 8 inch rim on an 86 Bird ? 15x8. 5.5 bs ?

Engine Tech / Fan replacement
Noticed the fan on my 86 5.0 has some cracks. Tried searching the usual places for replacement and can't find part # or source. Any info ? is it the same as the mustang ?

User Rides / Scored a nice one yesterday
After bailing on my last project due to no time, I found a killer deal on a really clean 86 with a 5.0.  Its only got 142k on her. Was grand pa's baby. Only issue is a cracked header panel. Drives like a dream, A/C is all new. Paint is pretty nice. Add some black welds and drive her for a while..
