I got the heater box from racer thank you. I just need to know the best place to buy the blower motor and the heater core from. Any ideas please let me know. I did searches on the Fourm and confused my self a little bit. Any ideas would help a lot. I have a 1988 thunderbird tc with the digital hear buttons thanks.
Hey guys I'm looking for a heater assembly pretty much a plug and play when I remove mine. If you have one in decent shape let me know very serious. My heater core is out and and the fan dose not work on mine. Thank you.
Well I search and can't find any info. I just got an aftermarket boost gauge. Can some one help me on how to hook it up. If there is a write up or any thing please let me know. I have a 1988 turbo coupe auto thanks for the help.
I just put a new ler on Saturday and he was saying my cat is very old and has been beat. I plan on converting the car to a five speed so punching the cat out is ok for now. When I put the 5 speed in I will put a whole new exhaust in.
We got it fixed. Pulled and the relays and cleaned them unhooked the battery for 15 min and then hooked it back up and now runs 3-4 seconds and then shuts off. Thanks guys for your help. Next thing is to do is punch the cat out.
I understand I changed the relay and the thing under the steering wheel and it's doing the same thing still. I know what you mean about the people not knowing very much about these cars. That is why with every car that I had I always find fourms for it.
So, you're saying that when you turn the key to the on position with the engine off the fuel pump continually runs. Yes that is what I'm saying. I went and talked to a ford master tech yesterday and he said it is the new style fuel pumps and they are all doing that. I don't know what to believe any more. So I'm going to take a look at it this moring. I'll check the relay and the thing under the stearing wheel.
Just replaced the fuel pump in my 1987 tc and the fuel pump is still running for more then 2 seconds when you click it to the on position is there any thing I need to do to fix that? Any help would be thankful.
I will buy a Subaru drain plug for that thank you. I thought it was an important system to have. If I just take the light out for the abs system that will be ok?
The car is mostly stock it's a 1988 5 speed got rid of ac and aftermarket exhaust system. So I'll start checking all the hoses for leaks. What else is there to start looking for the boost problem? It's leaking from the senor on the side of the oil pan I can not find any thing on that some one help me out with that.
When I'm driving the car normal drives great. When I get on it it goes up to 10 psi and about 3500 rmps stops acclertioning and pulling. When I shift into another gear it just bogs down. I thought when carshiznit boost it will keep pulling hard. Can you all try to help me out here I'm a little lost thanks. The abs light is on also so what's the best thing to check with that.
So I was looking at my car and found oil leaking on driver side oil pan near drain plug. I did a search and can't find any thing. Can some one shed a little light on how to maybe fix that leak. One more thing when I get on the car it hit 10 psi and feels like it falls on it's face any thing to look for or something to mess with to maybe fix the problem. Thanks.
I know I don't post here here very much but I'm on the forum everyday learning new things about these cars. I just picked up a 1988 5 speed tc it needs a little bit of work but I have an 1987 tc auto I was thinking about switching parts over on. The 1987 has rust holes and bondo every where on it. I don't think it is worth saving. But I don't know yet. These are very fun cars and people always ask me what kind of car is that. So I'll be around asking questions on stuff that I can't find or figure out. Thanks
