Misc Tech / Fuel Sending Unit help!!
I'm actually helping a buddy of mine out so this will probably be my only post on this forum. However I will get him involved here, seems like a decent place for information.
Anyways, I've come across an issue with my fuel sending unit. It is almost completely rusted and unable to be used any longer. I'd rather not go the route of aftermarket pieces, esp. for fuel components. I've cross referenced the engineering number over to the actual ford part number. However, I looked it up at the dealer and this particular piece is no longer available.
I was taking a wild guess and asked them to look for older years and see if they had any that might have been available. A dealership in Kansaas has 3 fuel sending units for an 85'
Long story short, will an 85 fuel sending unit fit/work in a 88' Turbo Coupe.
