T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars WANTED / Looking for a New ThunderBird ?.....Help guys?
Hi:)
A few months back my brother borrowed my project Tbird for the Day...His Daily Driver Broke down....so he needed Transportation to work...
He wasnt going far ..so he borrowed my Project car....needless to say....when he came home injured and on Foot.,..I knew my Baby was gone....
he had some minor injuries..but he was ok....it seems a Tractor Trailer mistook my 3300 lb Car for A piece of Road Debri......
Im wondering if anyone is tpuppies down their Herd...or moving on....with their lives....i need to replace my Project....:)

Im looking for 1986 -1988 Tbird or Tbird Turbocoupe Converted to 5.0 Ho System...with Borg Warner 5 Speed....disc brakes.,...Maf..
Modded or not...Unfinished project or finished.,...must be Driveable...and if possible NY tri State Area ...I am Unable to travel farther.....
Familly obligations....and work.....

thanx for the advice.....would you recommend factory replacements for the control Arm bushings & the Swaybar?
In your Opinion...if you still had that car...how would you setup the suspension? knowing what you know now??

Maybe you could help me....I have an 87 Tbird Lx 5.0 v8 Aod Setup....would like to improve suspension....
How where the mustang bullit springs?? how did it change your ride? What Struts & shock combo where you using
with this setup on the Tbird you sold  ....Any suspension tips would be appreciated...since you have been through this...

I was reading you can use late model mustang suspension on the fox body tbird with a special adapter from Chuckw????
Any truth to this? wanted to Improve handling....and braking...

1987 Tbird lx 302 H0 Bored .030  (306) ...Gt40 Cast iron Heads Ported...Factory
Upper & lower Intake ExtrudeHoned Port Matched to heads.&5mm Bullet MAF
70MM TB& EGR Spacer..B303 Cam ..1.72 Roller Rockers..Jba 1 5/8 Equal lenth
 Headers Into Mac Mustang Lx Exhaust system,(G.E.R) Modded Aod + 2800 Stall
 Converter...Auburn Posi + 28 Spline axles 3:73 Rear... Tbird Brakes Up front
+ Mustang 11 Drums in Rear (Rear is 93 Mustang )...Tbird factory Suspension.....
ANy suggestions on IMproving Brake system but keeping 4 lug?
