Can someone please describe the proper routing and connections for the battery cables?
My non stock neg. cable goes over the battery and down by the pos. cable and on to the engine block.
Seems kinda cluttered up.

Can't get to the o2 on right side exhaust manifold.
I can barely see it through all the smog piping.
The driver side is installed with a new sensor but the old is still on the pass. side!
Will this cause a poor idle when warm (no codes) a new and old sensor?
I've been trying to fix a bad idle problem: code 63 TPS = new TPS =no code decent idle
Mom reports: "runs fine and didn't wanna die at the stop light like before, but died in the garage when she got back as she was going into park"
So I don't know if the o2 sensor might be the culprit now and I still need to hook up the orange o2 ground I found unhooked.
I post back with any new details or fixes.:hick:

Ok, thanks for the help guys.
While we're at it, how do you get to the passenger side o2 sensor to remove it?
Look at all that stuff routed in such a tight area!
Changing that rear intake 3/8ths heater hose was a battle!
The OE Motorcraft I took off was a way better hose than I replaced it with:mad: Made in Mexico:toilet:

Ok, that's weird because my folks are the original owners and I'm sure the intake or the like were ever removed.
I wonder how it got taken off? Maybe when they had a climate control issue (automatic controls).
The way I noticed it was changing the stock heater hoses back there it surfaced and I figured it must go somewhere.
Can I locate it on the motor in a more accessible spot?
Why didn't a code show up for this not being grounded?
Had a code 63 TPS low volts, replace OE TPS with a BWD from O reillys.
Now it idles better without dying, but my mom said when she parked it today it shut off when she went into Park.
Maybe the comp is still "adapting"?
I disconnected the batt for 10 min. after new TPS install.
Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it.
I,m new to the Ford EECIV system. I have a 1989 Jeep 4.0 that I have turned every nut and bolt on lol.

This orange wire is loose at back of engine bay.
Is it the HEGO ground?
If so what ground stud do I put it on?
