I am about to redo my rear I think. I got the che lowers and non adjustable uppers on right now. I think I'm going with that brace with adjustable uppers and lowers. I'll probably get the rear drive tubes welded while I'm at it.
My throttle cable needs replacing and I was thinking of going with a lokar cable. Does anyone know how long I should get the cable? My car is carbureted and I was thinking a 2 ft cable may work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Not dead set on a lokar cable, just like their stuff.
Just wanted to let you guys know I contacted CHE about making this brace available to us fox thunderbird guys but make the brace compatible with fox mustang shocks on a bird. They said it wouldn't be a problem to modify the brace. Definitely seems like a nice piece and the fact that it will adapt fox stang shocks is awesome. Just fyi incase you guys haven't seen it. (On my phone and it won't let me post a pic or paste a link)
I parked my TC this morning after a 20 minute drive and noticed a wet spot under the front of my car underneath the radiator. I popped the hood and seen some coolant puddle in various places. I took off the radiator cap and noticed the radiator was 1/4 empty and there was some white sludge caked inside the radiator. It doesn't look like it mixed into the fluid, just caked on the coolant passes. The car didn't run hot during the drive. The engine and transmission oil are clear. The car did over heat a couple of weeks ago do to the fan going out. What do you think this could be?
Cool, thanks for the better option. I have a c4 transmission so when I run on the highway the car runs 10 degrees hotter than when I am street driving. My 87 is missing the air deflector so I figured adding one would fix that temperature difference. The mach 1 chin spoiler is definitely the better route for asthetics while also diverting the air to the rad.
