When you say they get dim do you mean they go out so you cant see them at all ?

They are designed so they  dim with the headlights so they are not so harsh on your eyes at night

nah i can barely see them i have to shine a light on them if i want to see them lol

when i first bought my bird the dash lights didnt come on at all, si u replaced the bulbs at the top of the speedo and voila! they work... until you hit the headlight switch then they get dim. i replaced the headlight switch thinking it was maybe a bad dial on the switch but it's still happening!! any ideas what the problem could be? i would love to get this car on the road but i need this issue fixed before i can. thanks for all the input!

Look in the tech info and modifying sub-sections.

You're welcome :)

On the '88 3.8, there's a difference in fuel lines, where they enter the engine bay. If you wish to keep the factory lines, you'll have to get creative and mate up a short piece for each line to connect to the hard lines on the efi engine lines.

I was going to to do this to mine, but bought a Sport instead.

As for the gauges, that's ridiculously easy, Acquire buttstuffog cluster, repin the needed wires. install. enjoy.

I did it, and if I can, anyone can lol

once again thanks! and will i have to swap the k member or can i use the v6 one?
