I'm thinking my starter on my '96 xr7 is about to on me cuz i hear a kind of metal clanking when i turn my car on and off, so if this is the situation i was wondering how much a new starter will run me. thanks in advanced.
are fuel pumps in the back? oh wow i feel pretty stupid, (for future refferences i'm a complete noob at cars) but it's wierd because it's not usually that loud/ noticeable.
96 cougar xr7, 3.8L v6, I pretty sure it's got the right size tires, i know my spedometer was correct when i first started driving it, and i haven't changed my tires since then so idk what's wrong.
i just went outside to move my car and when i turned the battery on, I heard a wierd, and decently loud, noise from the back of the car, it sounded like it was coming from the driveshaft, and it sounded like the driveshaft was turning or something, it's hard to explain, any ideas? it also made the noise when the car was turned on
well today i borrowed my dad's gps and found out that my cougar's spedometer is 5mph fast. I was wondering if there was anything i could do without having to take it to a mechanic. I'm not very mechanically inclined but i could follow simple steps if possible.
