Great pics, both with and without the ladies...mostly with....  However I would certainly like to know where you got that Cowl Hood?  Im working on my 88, finally, and need some items for it.

I would agree with V8Demon.

Also, sorry about your dog.  My thougts would be to indoctrinate the individual responsible, throroghly,  :nono: when you get your pup back.

You don't mess with family.

Good luck to you in getting Copper home.

General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / Question about 140 mph speedo mod(Updated Pics 10/22/08)
Back a few moons ago, I stumbled onto a...well...rather used...'88 Tcoupe with a 140 factory speedo in it.  Didn't even realize it was there until I got the car home.  The car was bought for $100.00 because I wanted to TCoupe nose on my sport.  In my area, both on the road and in the yards, there are right around a kabillion V-6 models, and only about 3 TCoupes.  So TC parts are a rarity.  The previous owner, was trying to change the timing belt, however, somewhere along the line, FOR HIM it required removing and disassembling the head  :rollin:  Nothing like a 20 year old with a set of tools that doesn't understand what a screwdriver is for.

Oh...and I am not pointing this to all 20 year olds.  Don't want frost anyone on that.  :rollin:

Drivetrain Tech / 4 to 5
Good day all...

New to the site, however, am looking for information.  My Bird is an 88 Sport.  At this point, she is already wearing an 8.8 from a TCoupe as the 2.73's grenaded in the 7.5 some years ago.  I am now looking to upgrade to 5 lug.  I am familiar with going to 99-04 axles, but am wondering about just swapping the shafts over and whether I can at this point continue using the stock TCoupe rear brakes with the Stang axles.  Long term goal, going with larger brakes...planning for Cobra style.

In addition, the front conversion, I have heard that I need to change A-arms, spindles, rotors, and of course brakes...

I would appreciate any assistance.  Hopefully, during the next month or so, I can start my shopping...as long as my wife lets me :rollin:

Thanks, and remember that too much horsepower is not enough.  :burnout:
