T-Bird/Cougar Parts & Cars WANTED / Passenger Side Power Window Motor
Thanks everyone for the input. I tried an auto parts store locally and it was $150 Canadian! So I like the american prices better. I will stop by some place the next time I am in Detroit.

Mark, I realize it has been a year since powertour and I was really disapointed when I learned it was not coming anywhere close to detroit this year. I think the tour is actually going on right now! Hope all is well, take care.

Body/Appearance/Interior / Minimal Heat
I did a quick search and didn't see much on this topic, so hopefully it is not totally a repeat.
The heat in my car not working properly. It has the electronic automatic control. The fan blows but the air coming out of the vents is not Hot. I would say it is about 10% of the warmth it was last year before I put the car away. I have checked the vacuum line going through the firewall and replaced the heater control in the dash. I believe there is a little vacuum actuated door in there somewhere but not sure where to look. Any ideas on where to look next?
Thanks,

User Rides / 86 TC protouring project
What are your plans when it comes to suspension, front and rear?
Are you going with E.F.I. or Carb?
Really intrested to see how this turns out. Look forward to seeing the car with wide wheels and a low stance.
Thanks for sharing!

Misc Tech / S&W Roll Bar Kit in The T-Bird
Coincidentally, Popular Hot Rodding is running an article on a custom 10-point cage in a fox mustang. They mention that the NHRA requires the main hoop to be X and Y from Driver as well as the accurate position of the door bars. PM me with your email if you are intrested and I will scan the 4 page article for you.

Lounge / Thunderbirds in PHR
Hey guys, I wasn't trying to BS the write up, the best I could figure was that I was making 300 HP at the crank (225 HP to the wheels). Not sure how 1WLD BRD was able to go that fast with only 200 RWHP? I have weighed my car and it weights 3550 lbs with me in it.
This is the website that I used to calculate the number http://www.race-cars.net/calculators/et_calculator.html.
1WLD BRD, did you have your car on a chassis dyno? I'm always open to new ideas to make the car faster, so if you have any ideas, send them along.
Glad everyone liked the pictures. There are lots of nice cars in the entire issue, check it out.

I was able to scan the magazine. Hopefully they are clear enough to read.

Lounge / Thunderbirds in PHR
Popular Hot Rodding Magazine recently published the results for their 2009 Photo Contest. Proudly, two fox thunderbirds made the magazine. The issue is January 2010 and is on newstands now. The first tbird is on page 30 and belongs to Paul Owens of Philadelphia, PA. The second is my car and is on page 65.
Check them out!
